Role Overview:

As an AI Engineer Associate, you will be an integral part of our pioneering AI team, focusing on the development and implementation of state-of-the-art Generative AI solutions. You will work closely with senior engineers on exciting projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and other foundation models, gaining hands-on experience across the entire Generative AI lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the complete Generative AI lifecycle, from data collection and preprocessing for fine-tuning to model deployment and monitoring.
• Implement, test, and fine-tune pre-trained foundation models (e.g., LLMs like Llama, GPT models, or diffusion models) for specific business applications.
• Develop and refine prompts (prompt engineering) to optimize the performance, safety, and quality of responses from generative models.
• Contribute to the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems by working with vector databases and information retrieval pipelines.
• Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of AI models.
• Analyze and evaluate generative model performance using relevant metrics and human-in-the-loop feedback.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for model interaction, data processing, and application development.
• Stay curious and continuously learn about new architectures, techniques, and tools in the rapidly evolving Generative AI landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional or academic experience in machine learning or data science, with a demonstrated interest in Generative AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major ML framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch) and familiarity with the Generative AI ecosystem (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Solid understanding of core Generative AI concepts, including transformer architecture, attention mechanisms, and different model types (e.g., LLMs, Diffusion Models).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and the principles of fine-tuning large models.
• A passion for problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and build in the field of AI.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantages):

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its AI services (e.g., Vertex AI), is highly advantageous.

• Experience with vector databases is a significant plus.
