Role Overview:
At LumerAI, a leading Data and AI Solutions company based in Cairo's vibrant tech scene, we are building the robust platforms that power intelligent applications. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to provide technical leadership and shape the foundation of our technology. You will move fluidly between the front-end and back-end, making high-level architectural decisions, driving automation through CI/CD, and mentoring the next generation of developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and reliable full stack applications.
- Architect end-to-end solutions on modern cloud platforms, applying best practices for performance and resilience. (Experience with GCP is a strong plus).
- Establish and champion software development best practices, including code quality, comprehensive testing, and security standards.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, automated, and reliable software delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior developers through constructive code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical leadership.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of professional experience in full stack software development, with a proven track record of shipping high-quality products.
- Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of core software development principles, architectural patterns, and data structures, independent of any specific language or framework.
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, etc.).
- Solid experience with a major cloud provider (Google Cloud Platform is highly preferred).
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to mentor and elevate the skills of junior engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
